Scott Warner, EA

Financial Advisor

Scott has a deep interest in the intersection of financial and tax planning, and his unique passion lies in understanding the impact that taxes have on people’s financial lives and investment returns. As a financial advisor, he enjoys working in an environment where he can have a positive impact on clients’ lives by helping them realize their personal and financial goals.

Scott’s curiosity about the impact taxes have on financial outcomes led him to become an Enrolled Agent (federally authorized tax practitioner). He enjoys using this expertise to help our clients make tax-efficient financial and life decisions with confidence.

Prior to joining Aspen Capital Management, Scott served in the Marine Corps where he maintained aircraft structures and flight control systems on the world’s best helicopters (unbiased opinion!). After his enlistment was complete, he worked as a carpenter and superintendent building custom homes.

Scott has always loved working with numbers and solving complex problems, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boise State University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics.

Scott and his wife, Chelsea, live in the Treasure Valley where they keep extremely busy raising their three children. He loves baseball, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He is a fifth-generation L.A. Dodgers fan and is working hard to ensure his children will be the sixth.
