Johann Simpson is an advisor with Aspen Capital Management, where he helps clients make sense of complex financial decisions and turn them into clear, practical strategies. He believes investing doesn’t have to be overwhelming and he’s passionate about helping people focus on what really matters for their long-term goals.
With over seven years of experience in finance, strategic planning, and data analytics across the private equity and healthcare sectors, Johann leverages his analytical expertise to help clients cut through the noise and focus on what matters most for their financial future.
Johann holds a B.S. in Human Biology from Stanford University and an MBA from Boise State University. Before joining Aspen Capital, he led the finance departments for several companies with revenues ranging from $10 million to $50 million, giving him firsthand insight into how financial decisions shape business growth.
Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, Johann continues to reside here with his wife and their golden retriever named Montana. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time with family and friends, hitting the gym, and biking Boise’s local trails. After years of distance running, including qualifying for and running the Boston Marathon, Johann has traded in his racing shoes (at least for now) to focus on improving his ever-frustrating golf game.
