Lavea Thomas is an advisor with Aspen Capital Management where she uses her expertise about sophisticated wealth management practices and investment strategies to help clients effectively navigate their financial future. Lavea brings decades of experience in the capital markets, including expertise in private placements, publicly registered offerings, and liquid alternative investments. In an ever-evolving industry, she enjoys working side by side with clients during periods of volatility and uncertainty to bring stability and a calming presence to her relationship with clients.
Lavea earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy degree from Boise State University. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) accreditation and was named on the Idaho Business Review Accomplished Under 40 list in 2014.
The majority of her career has focused on leading teams in financial services industry responsible for relationship management, product education, and business development. Lavea has since leveraged her prior experience to help clients make informed decisions about ways to effectively pursue their family’s financial goals in a manner that puts clients’ needs first.
Lavea lives in Star, Idaho with her family; she enjoys cooking, long distance running, and skiing. While she is an alum of Boise State University, she is required by marriage to cheer for the Georgia Bull Dogs.
